Museum Overview

Located in the heart of Provence, La Lieutenante is a family-run olive and almond production estate.

La Lieutenante is a family estate spanning 48 hectares of olive groves, planted gradually over generations, and 80 hectares of almond orchards, planted since 2017. The four olive varieties recognized by the Vallée des Baux de Provence AOP designation are cultivated there: Salonenque, Béruguette, Verdale des Bouches-du-Rhône, and Grossane. In addition, they produce almonds of three French varieties: Lauranne, Ferragnès, and Mandaline.
The products include olive oil, table olives, tapenades, salted and sweet almonds, nougat, calissons, dragées, pralines, etc. All these delicacies can be found in the shop located on the estate.
